St. Louis City Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, release someone, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the agency that created or holds the record.
City custody and police records
Use the official locator before calling. A person may be in SLMPD police processing before transfer to the City Justice Center, so a live jail search can be empty during that early stage.

Where to start
Choose the office by the question and custody stage. A jail locator, a police record, and a court case serve different purposes.
- For current or released-within-72-hours City Justice Center status, use the official inmate locator and its City instructions.
- For an existing arrest record or possible electronic booking photograph, use the SLMPD portal or Sunshine Law Unit and give a narrow date range.
- For a later disposition, use Missouri Case.net, Municipal Court, or the 22nd Judicial Circuit Clerk at 314-622-4433.
- For a city or state bond question, the published routes are 314-622-3231 for municipal bond and 314-641-8214 for state bond.
- For a warrant question, begin with the Missouri warrant portal or the CAO Warrant Office at 314-622-3342, then verify the issuing court.
- For active Missouri state custody or supervision, use the MODOC Offender Search or Constituent Services at 573-751-2389.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the appropriate BOP or ICE official locator.
Sheriff and court process
The City of St. Louis Sheriff’s Office is at 10 North Tucker Boulevard, eighth floor, Civil Courts Building, St. Louis, MO 63101, and lists 314-622-4851. Its documented work includes court security, civil process, prisoner transport, and permits. It is not the City Justice Center booking-record custodian. Route a jail, booking-photo, or early police-custody question to Corrections or SLMPD instead.
